INDY WRAP WORKS Story
Born on the Racetrack. Built for the Road.
Indy Wrap Works was founded in 2020, but the company was years in the making.
Long before the doors opened, Mike “Zippy” Neff and his son, Chase Neff, had been developing the concept, researching the vehicle graphics industry, refining their capabilities, and determining the right time to launch. Their goal was not simply to open another wrap shop. They set out to build a company that combined motorsports-level precision, advanced design expertise, and dependable large-format production under one roof.
Mike brought decades of experience from championship-level NHRA racing, where accuracy, preparation, and performance under pressure are essential. Chase brought a complementary combination of creative, technical, and engineering expertise, helping shape the company’s design systems, production standards, technology, and long-term direction. As Co-Founder and Co-Owner, Chase has played a central role in building Indy Wrap Works from its earliest planning stages into the operation it is today.
Mike and Chase were joined by longtime industry professional Justin Oliver, adding extensive experience in precision fabrication, graphics installation, and large-format production. Together, they created a team capable of managing complex projects from initial concept through design, production, installation, and final delivery.
The company was launched in Indianapolis intentionally. Central Indiana is home to one of the country’s largest concentrations of motorsports teams, manufacturers, event facilities, and performance-driven businesses. Working within that environment has shaped the company’s standards and continues to set Indy Wrap Works apart.
That motorsports experience, however, is applied to the everyday vehicles that drive local businesses. The core of Indy Wrap Works is helping companies throughout Central Indiana turn work vans, service vehicles, trucks, trailers, and commercial fleets into professional, highly visible representations of their brands. From a single contractor van to a coordinated multi-vehicle fleet, each project is approached with the same precision expected in professional racing.
Indy Wrap Works provides complete commercial vehicle graphics services, including custom design, logo and brand application, full and partial wraps, lettering, fleet graphics, trailer graphics, removal, replacement, and ongoing support as businesses add or update vehicles. The goal is not simply to wrap a vehicle, but to create consistent, durable branding that helps a company look established, recognizable, and professional wherever its vehicles travel.
Today, Indy Wrap Works serves clients including Penske Transportation, T-Mobile, Firestone, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, MAC Tools, and multiple NHRA racing programs. Its work ranges from contractor vans, service trucks, and local business fleets to tractor-trailers, NHRA Funny Car liveries, and IndyCar graphics.
The projects may vary, but the standard remains the same. Every vehicle that leaves the shop represents a client who trusted Indy Wrap Works to put their brand on the road. That responsibility is treated with the same preparation, precision, and attention to detail that the company was built on.
"We built this company the same way Mike builds championship race cars — with precision, accountability, and an obsession with getting every detail right."
MEET THE TEAM
Mike "Zippy" Neff — Founder & Owner
Before Mike Neff ever rolled a sheet of vinyl, he was winning championships at 300 miles per hour.
Mike "Zippy" Neff has spent more than three decades at the highest levels of NHRA professional drag racing — as a mechanic, engineer, tuner, crew chief, and Funny Car driver.
He won back-to-back U.S. Nationals Funny Car events at Indianapolis in 2011 and 2012, and earned 10 NHRA Funny Car victories across his driving career.
His work in motorsports wasn't limited to the cockpit. As crew chief for Gary Scelzi, Mike delivered 11 race wins and the 2005 NHRA Funny Car world championship. He later tuned John Force to his 15th Funny Car world championship and oversaw fabrication and machine-shop operations at John Force Racing's Brownsburg, Indiana facility — before bringing that same standard to Indianapolis, where Indy Wrap Works operates today.
When COVID-19 halted the 2020 NHRA racing season, Mike didn't stop. He gathered his son Chase and industry professional Justin Oliver and launched Indy Wrap Works — channeling a lifetime of precision craftsmanship into a new kind of build. The race shop instincts translated immediately: exacting standards, zero tolerance for shortcuts, and a team culture built around doing the job right the first time.
Today, Mike runs Indy Wrap Works as Founder and Co-Owner, leading a commercial vehicle graphics operation that serves fleet clients across Central Indiana and beyond. Mike is also back at professional auto racing as a Crew Chief for the John Force NHRA Race Team.
Championship-winning crew chief. NHRA Funny Car driver. 10 event victories. Founder of Indy Wrap Works.
Chase Neff - Co - Owner Design & Technology
Chase Neff grew up around racing, and that environment shaped how he works—methodically, under pressure, and always with an eye on the finish line. A graduate of Purdue University with degrees in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering, Chase currently serves as a Aerospace Design Engineer at a prominent engineering firm in Indianapolis.
As Co-Founder and Co-Owner of Indy Wrap Works, Chase drives the design and technology side of the operation, working alongside Mike and Justin to translate client brands into production-ready graphics. He bridges creative vision and technical execution, ensuring every design decision holds up from the screen to the vehicle.
Justin Oliver - Lead Installer & Production
Justin Oliver is the hands behind the finished product. As Co-Founder of Indy Wrap Works and the team's lead applicator, Justin brings extensive experience in large-format vinyl installation — the kind of technical skill that separates a professional wrap from an amateur one. He works closely with Mike and Chase from design through production, ensuring that every material choice, print spec, and installation detail meets the standard the job demands. When a vehicle rolls out of the shop, Justin's work is what the world sees.
